Abraham House

A "Welcome Home" for the terminally ill

Abraham House has been meeting the needs of the terminally ill since 1998.  We offer residence and a staff of professional and trained volunteer care givers to persons who have reached the end of curative therapy options.  The guest maintains control and is assisted through this time of transition.  Based closely on the model of a family caring for a loved one at home, our staff and volunteers will interact with health care, social servies, and pastoral
counseling professionals to meet the individual, palliative care needs of each guest while maintaining the dignity and independence of our guest

Abraham House is a privately incorporated not-for-profit home.  We give to all according to their need, with no financial burden to our guests or their family.

Referrals are welcome from physicians, social workers, health care agencies and concerned individuals.  Candidates for Abraham House are persons who are at the end of life's journey and are in need of continuous care in a home-like setting.
